It is always great when we get the opportunity to embrace the international nature of our club!
Oktoberfest began as a wedding celebration more than 200 years ago when Bavaria’s Crown Prince Ludwig married Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen on Oct. 12, 1810. The wedding was celebrated with multiple days of drinking, feasting and horse races. The celebration then became an annual event.
We have the opportunity to get involved and join in the fun with a trip to Torrox Costa on Saturday 23 September. There will be Beer of course (other drinks will be available!), German street food like Bratwurst and Senf mustard of course (or Wienerschnitzel!), live music, Lederhosen and Dirndls aplenty!
Itinerary
- Depart Salobreña at 4:30pm
- Pick Up at Almuñécar Bus Station 4:50pm
- Arrive Torrox Costa Oktoberfest 5:20pm
You are then free to enjoy the sights, sounds and atmosphere of the event until our coach collects us for our journey home.

- Drop Off at Almuñécar Bus Station 11:30pm
- Arrive Salobreña 11:50pm
Cost
Cost for ICS Members €12.50 per person or €17.50 for Non Members.
Cost includes return coach travel from Salobreña with optional pick up at Bus Station Almuñécar en route.
Booking
Booking is available online until Friday 15 September. Your booking is not completed until payment is received. Cancellations after this date are non-refundable unless we can reallocate your seat to another member. We reserve the right to cancel the trip should we receive insufficient interest. If we cancel, a full refund will be made to you. Places are strictly limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
