What is your trade off for Artificial Intelligence (AI)?
– your positive expectations (in which fields)
– your concerns (in which fields)
– can this technology be kept under human control?
+ will market forces be helpful?
+ what effect will geopolitical rivalry have?
+ is self-responsible acting by a single company limited by these forces?
+ can political regulation be helpful?
+ will a worldwide cooperation/regulation be possible similar to the challenge of human caused climate change?
+ will humans be able to reach the needed level of social maturity to master this challenge?

I will call for resuming discussions in September, currently too many
“summer activities” are competing with eachother and with our Monday
meeting.
